Mid and East Antrim is the provisional name of one of the new local government districts for Northern Ireland to come into use from 2015. It corresponds roughly to three existing local government districts, the he Borough of Ballymena, the Borough of Larne, and the Borough of Carrickfergus.

LGBT history

In 2010 "gay bishop" Pat Buckley was reported to be planning a civil partnership in Larne, followed by a ceremony at his private chapel.[1]
