The Royal Albion Hotel is an hotel on the sea front in Brighton.

LGBT history

Oscar Wilde stayed there with a young man.

In the later 19th century the philanthropist Angela Burdett-Coutts spent part of each year at the hotel with her companion Hannah.

Gay tea dances were held there at one time.[1]
