Nottinghamshire is a county in the East Midlands. The county council area contains six districts, with the city of Nottingham as a separate unitary authority.

Nottinghamshire’s Rainbow Heritage is a volunteer-run project celebrating Nottinghamshire’s LGBT lives, hidden history and culture.

Nottingham & Nottinghamshire Lesbian & Gay Switchboard provides information and support for LGBT people.

Nottinghamshire Pride was formerly Nottingham Pride.

Nottinghamshire Police has an LGBT Independent Advisory Group.[1]
