Falkirk is a council area in central Scotland. The area ws formed in 1975; most of the area was previously in Stirlingshire and a small part in West Lothian. Between 1975 and 1996 the area was in the Central Region, which has since been abolished.
LGBT history
A Forth Valley LGBT Development Group was set up in 2012.[1]
There is a Falkirk Lesbian and Gay Society.[2]
FK1nclude is a local LGBT youth group.[3]
