The Fire Brigades Union LGBT Committee represents LGBT firefighters.[1]
The Fire Brigades Union was a member of the LGBT Consortium in 2012.[2] Lucy Masoud, a lesbian, was a senior London Fire Brigade Officer and Union member when she appeared on BBC Radio 4 and questioned self identifying trans women using female toilets. As a result Stonewall contacted the London Fire Brigade and arranged a meeting in order to try and get the Fire Brigade to take action against her [3].
