Suffolk is a county in East Anglia. It contains five local government districts. 1n 2019 the former districts of Suffolk Coastal and Waveney were merged to form East Suffolk, and Forest Heath and St Edmundsbury were merged to form West Suffolk,

The county has its own police force, Suffolk Constabulary.

LGBT History

The Suffolk LGB&T Network was founded in 1988, and evolved from the Suffolk Gay and Lesbian Helpline in 2010.[1]
