The Load of Hay

The Load of Hay is a gay pub at Watford Heath, and the southern end of the borough of Watford.

In November 2013, new landlords took over, promising to "put the gay back in the Load of hay".

"It always used to be a predominantly gay pub and over the past two years it’s not been very gay. A lot of customers have left because they didn’t like the way it was managed."[1]
