Ken Plummer (born 1946^[1]) is a sociologist, specialising in lesbian and gay studies. He worked at Essex University from 1975, retiring in 2006 because of ill-health.^[2] He edits the journal Sexualities.^[3]

He was listed under "Lifetime achievement award" in the Pink List 2011.
