Victoria Station

Victoria is an area of Central London, within the City of Westminster, with no definite boundaries, but centred on Victoria Station. Other local landmarks include Victoria Coach Station, the former Imperial Airways Empire Terminal (now the National Audit Office), Westminster Cathedral, several theatres, and New Scotland Yard, headquartes of the Metropolitan Police. It borders on Pimlico.

LGBT history

The Stag in Stag Place (formerly the site of the Stag Brewery) was a gay pub, now demolished. Other now lost gay venues included the Spartan club and the Biograph cinema.
