The North West Committee for Homosexual Law Reform (NWCHLR) was a group set up in 1964 by Allan Horsfall and others in the Greater Manchester area. In 1969 it became a national body as the Committee for Homosexual Equality, and in 1971 it was renamed Campaign for Homosexual Equality (CHE).
Not to be confused with the Northwest Campaign for Lesbian & Gay Equality.
