Age UK is the UK's leading charity for older people. It was formed in 2009 as a merger between Help the Aged and Age Concern. Each local Age UK is an independent charity, partnering with the national body.
Age UK has produced a range of informational material aimed at older LGBT people, and Age UK Camden has led the Opening Doors London project for older LGBT people in central London. Other local Age UKs sponsor groups for older LGBT people in different parts of the country.
In 2013 Age UK Sutton assisted with the setting up of Sutton LGBT Forum.
