The Edward Carpenter Community (ECC) is a UK and international group of gay men who organise gatherings several times a year. Each event is designed as a safe space within which the participants can grow together as a community.

It was founded in 1985 and grew out of an earlier co-operative housing venture called Wild Lavender.[1]

ECC is named in honour of Edward Carpenter, socialist, poet, and gay activist.
