Derby Guildhall

Derby is a city in the East Midlands. It is a unitary authority, within the ceremonial county of Derbyshire. It was an important centre for the railway industry, and is still an important industrial centre.

LGBT history

In the 1970s there were a GLF froup and a CHE group, and there was a gay club in the village of Shardlow, six miles away.

Derby LGBT Community Forum have a Facebook page.[1]

Panthers RFC is a local gay inclusive rugby club.

Curzons, on Curzon Street, is Derby's only gay nightclub.
