The International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia (IDAHO) is every year on the 17th of May, commemorating the day in 1990 when homosexuality was removed from the e World Health Organisation's International Classification of Diseases.[1]
The "International Day Against Homophobia" was first celebrated in 2005. In 2009 the name was expanded to include "Transphobia".
