South Holland is a local government district in Lincolnshire. The main town is Spalding.
LGBT history
On Boxing Day 2012, a local student, Suzi Paddison, stood for two hours in the cold and rain in the centre of Spalding collecting signatures in favour of equal marriage, following reports that the local MP, John Hayes, intended to vote against it.[1]
