Roedean is a village in East Sussex, to the east of Brighton, now part of the City of Brighton and Hove, mainly noted for Roedean School, a leading independent day and boarding school for girls, founded 1885.
LGBT history
Louisa Martindale was school doctor to Brighton High School and Roedean School.[1]
Nancy Spain was educated at Roedean School, and used it as the basis of the fictional "Radcliff Hall" in her novels.
Out to Swim have swimming sessions at the school.[2]
