Retro is a bar in George Court, Westminster, London. It has been a gay/LGBT venue since the 1990s. the website for the bar says 'this hidden gem is one of the West End’s friendliest gay venues. Occupying a site which has been a pub since the 17th century, Retro Bar has been a secret haven for the eccentric and the alternative LGBTQIA+ crowd since the 90s. Famous for our Insta-friendly rock ’n’ roll ‘gallery’ walls and eclectic jukebox, covering everything from disco treats to sleazy beats, we’re proud to be a safe and welcoming space for those who feel that they don’t quite fit in anywhere else' [1].
