Rainer Schulze

Rainer Schulze is a German historian, now resident in the UK.

He has taught Modern European History at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum, Birkbeck College London and Roehampton University, London. In 1955 he joined the University of Essex, where he is now a professor, specialising in the Holocaust. He is founding editor of The Holocaust in History and Memory, published by the University of Essex, and editor of Volume 4, The Pink Triangle: The Long shadow of the Nazi Persecution of Gay Men.[1] Schulze is a trustee of CHERT.
