Lord Ivar Alexander Michael Mountbatten, born 1963, is an English aristocrat and a cousin of Queen Elizabeth II. His grandfather, the second Marquess of Milford Haven, was the brother of Lord Mountbatten of Burma. He was educated at Gordonstoun School and Middlebury College, Vermonth, USA.
He was married in 1994 and had three daughters, but divorced in 2011.
In September 2016, Mountbatten came out as bisexual and revealed that he was in a relationship with James Coyle, an airline cabin services director whom he met while at a ski resort in Verbier, Switzerland.[1][2] Though Mountbatten is not a member of the British royal family, he is the first member of the monarch's extended family to come out.[3]
