Gaywaves was a gay radio programme produced by Phillip Cox (Correctly spelt Philip) and broadcast on a pirate radio station called Our Radio. Our Radio broadcast at various locations in London during the 1980s. It used frequency 103.7 Mhz. Cassette recordings of Gaywaves radio broadcast are held in the British Library. Some have been digitalised and are available for listening by registered users at the Library and by prior appointment [1] [2]. Work on the recordings at the British Library formed part of the UOSH (unlocking our social heritage) Project [3] .
