Cat Burton

Cat Burton (Catherine S Burton) is an airline pilot.

"I was very much a late developer in that I only transitioned at work 2 years ago, at the age of 61. I should have known at about age 14, but negative experiences encouraged me to go into denial, even from myself, and I locked that side of myself in a very tightly closed box marked do not open at the back of my mind."[1]

She was listed number 89 in the Rainbow List 2014. The citation said:

"A senior BA pilot with 40 years’ experience, Burton announced her gender transition via an online forum. In the past, such a move might have been career-ending, but Burton’s supportive employers are set to welcome her back to her job in the near future."[2]
