Caernarfon Castle

Caernarfon, previously spelt Carnarvon, is a Royal Town in Gwynedd, North Wales, on the Menai Strait. It is mainly noted for its magnificent castle, built in 1283 by King Edward I, who is said to have presented his infant son, Edward of Caernarfon (later King Edward II) there as Prince of Wales. The castle has been the scene for the investiture of the Prince of Wales in 1911 and again in 1969.

Plas Dinas is a gay-owned hotel at Bontnewydd, two miles south of Caernarfon.[1]
