The Alan Bray Memorial Lectures are a series of lectures instituted in memory of the gay historian Alan Bray.

Subjects and lecturers include:

  • 2003: "Reclaiming our Tradition: Rights, Diversity and Catholic Social Teaching" by Colin Gearty, Professor of Human Rights Law at LSE[1]
  • 2007: "Church Leadership, Ethics & the Future" by James F Keenan SJ, Professor of Moral Theology at Boston College, USA[2]
  • 2009: "Sacrament of Desire" by Margaret Farley RSM, Professor of Christian Ethics, Yale University Divinity School[3]
