Kudos bar, situated in the Coutts Nash building opposite Charing Cross Station in London’s West End, was one of the new style modern gay bars that emerged in the early 1990s. It was originally run by Gary Henshaw, before he started Ku Bar, and featured large striking paintings by the artist Trade Mark. Whilst it was not in Soho, it was conveniently situated on the edge of Soho, near Heaven night club, which was (and maybe, still is) the largest and most popular gay West End night club.
