			In July 1976 [[Gay News]] reported that the Charity Commission had refused charity status to the Trust, which was then aiming to cater for gay men and women. At that time the Trust was operating from 33 Crescent Lane, [[Clapham]], London <ref> Gay News issue 100 'Thumbs Down over Trust's Homes for Aged'</ref>.
