'''Paul Fairweather''' is a gay rights activist and former Labour councillor on [[Manchester]] City Council.
In 1978, aged 21, he went to work for [[CHE]] in Manchester. 
In 2009 Fairweather took to the stage at Manchester Pride and declared in public his [[HIV]] positive status.
